Course description:
This course shall familiarise you with the terms useful for those who are interested in getting a job on a cruise ship in the galley department. You will learn job responsibilities, cooking terminology, equipment, techniques, etc. After passing this course, you should get all your cooking knowledge refreshed and adjusted to English speaking environment on board cruise ships. This might help you to pass interview for a cook position on a cruise line.

Course passing conditions:

When passing the course final test you get a score 85 out of 100 or higher, it means you passed this course successfully and the quality of your preparation corresponds to the our course requirements. You can now download your certificate.

If you get a score lower than 85 out of 100, it means you failed this course and don’t get a certificate. You should study a little bit more and may retake the course by purchasing additional test trial.

In case you fail the test, you have an opportunity to buy 15 minutes Skype consultation with test retake included.

    I found a discrepancy between the training and the questions. The course says that the yellow cutting board is for raw poultry, but there is no such option in the answers. There is only raw meat, cooked meat and other answers. For some reason cooked meat is the correct answer.
